How “The Inch Program” was born

The Inch Program started years ago when creator Shannon Bliss was studying nutrition and was a member of Masters program for paddlers aged 25 and up at the Burloak Canoe Club, a sprint canoe and kayak club in Ontario. Most of Shannon’s fellow Masters members were competitive paddlers and trained hard with some training 7 days per week, Shannon included. Their collective goal was to become the best that they could be as individuals and a team, finishing strong in each of their races in preparation for the Canadian Masters, an elite competition that draws competitors from across the country at the end of each season.

Although the group trained extremely hard, many still struggled with trimming down and losing inches. Utilizing her old and new knowledge of eating properly, Shannon stepped in and started creating The Inch Plan and shared it with her teammates. Each member of the team experienced amazing results, dropping inches, having more energy and feeling better.

This is the foundation of The Inch Program, an online course with added science and cellular support to help you make your body a high performance machine. This is a program that you can rely on throughout your life. As a Holistic Nutritionist, Shannon founded "Health is Bliss" on a belief that in order to have a healthy body, mind and spirit you must find the root cause of health imbalances to give the body and immune system the raw materials it needs to heal and become stronger.

The most fundamental element of this is what we put in our body. Food and fluids fuel the body enabling it to function. The higher quality of food and correct volume of fluid ensures the optimal performance of our metabolic system.

There are occasions where imbalances occur and it's my job with the help of Live Blood Analysis to identify and redress these imbalances through diet adjustment and supplementation.
